About Us
he is first ever Vihara in the history of Maharashtra, based on Tibetan tradition & culture which also gives us peek of ancient Buddhist tradition and culture present in India 2000 yrs ago.
It is build by BUDDHYAN MAHASANGHA- Pune in guidance of Ven. (Bhante) Rajratan, who is also a Director of the trust. This vihara is situated near historical river pawana.
Add: Near Akurdi rly. Station, Shinde vasti rd., Rawet. Pune.
It is three storey structures, it has big library having books on traditional Buddhist teaching, and a big mediation hall. From here you can get knowledge of Pali, Sanskrit languages and Buddhist philosophy. From here you also get a peek of ancient Buddhist Culture of Guru Shisya parampra.
The main reason for constructing such a beautiful vihara in the city is to spread Dharma teachings and deep Buddhist philosophy to people.
